Serving Philadelphia and surrounding areas, West Philly Scrub is here to keep dwellings clean in order to help keep mental spaces clear. We see the cleaning work we do as movement work, as strengthening community, as building reciprocity and trust, as highlighting the dignity of domestic work and workers, and as neighbors taking care of neighbors.
The work we do, and the professional relationships we build, go beyond our clients simply providing our team with income and beyond our team simply providing peace of mind through a clean home ~ although both are incredibly valued and valuable. The work we do is built on mutual care and respect.
Our pricing structure includes budgeting for collectively-funded community engagement. A percentage from every cleaning going into a fundraising pool donated to local social justice organizations, grassroots movements, mutual aid networks, and/or individual neighbors in financial need.
While the daily work we do is grounded in relieving the overwhelm of daily life, Philadelphia Scrubs is much more. Our community’s cleaning company, a cleaning company for our community.
